141.6...yesterday
Sorry for the lack of post last night....again too tired! I have been feeling very run down this week so I'm trying to catch up on the zzzzzzz's.
That brings us back to Wednesday night. I did indeed try the Trader Joe's Strawberry Yogurt O's cereal. Verdict? I LOVED it. Reminded me of super crunchy cheerios, meets the strawberries from Special K while adding a new dimension: yogurt goodness clusters. I hope that made sense. I added a half cup of almond milk to it and it stayed crunchy to the end. I ate them in bed. :) I decided to be artistic and put the bowl on my night stand next to a wedding picture. I'm sure you are tired of looking at my kitchen granite top so I thought I'd give you a new scene. :)
So breakfast yesterday was Fage mixed with a tablespoon sugar free raspberry preserves, topped with a half cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch and a handful of raspberries. Excellent breakfast I must say.
After taking the kids to school, I went to spin class. We did 45 minutes of spin and 15 minutes of core. I wasn't very sore anymore so the spinning actually felt good.
Lunch was the rest of the Trader Joe's spicy egg white salad from the day before in a whole wheat tortilla with spinach and shredded carrots. Salad on the side: mixed greens, spinach, red onion, cucumber, mushrooms and.....a tomato and green bell pepper from my garden!!!! I've been trying to grow a few veggies in my garden but something keeps eating them (rabbit? bugs? worms?) so it was nice to finally eat them!!! Oh and I added one of my favorite salad dressings to it: a tablespoon of Girards light Champagne Vinaigrette.
After lunch I ran over to Costco to stock up on a few staples. My trick for not eating all the free samples at Costco? I stick a piece of gum in my mouth when I walk in and I don't take it out until I leave. It works most of the time!!! It worked yesterday....although I have to say I didn't see anything that I really wanted to try.
For dinner we took the family to our club for dinner. On Thursdays they have a theme night and right now it's Pacific Rim Cuisine. I started with the Asian Green Salad (Asian blend of field greens, peanuts, red pepper, carrots and Sesame Vinaigrette on the side).
For my entree I chose Hong Kong style salmon served over veggie lo mein. I really liked it!
None of the dessert options sounded very healthy so I asked if they had sorbet....they did! Mango sorbet:
Hubby took the kids home and I stayed for our club's "Ladies Night". I only stayed for a few minutes because I was exhausted and didn't want to drink (what!?!). So, I went home and put the kids to bed and was asleep by 9PM. Oh yeah....I live on the edge.
This morning's breakfast was the Trader Joe's Strawberry Yogurt O's. Did I mention that I love these? I added a half cup of strawberries to it.
I took the kids to school and went to Step and Sculpt. I rocked it hard for an hour and was a sweaty, glorious mess at the end. I love it!!!!!!!

After getting cleaned up, I went to get my nails/toes done. It had been four weeks and they were a disaster. I feel much more like myself now.
Subway was nearby so I made a pit stop. Behold the usual:
