Aloha!!!
Aloha from Maui!!!! Where did we last leave off? Ah, yes....the plane.
mmmmm....wine!! Somebody looks tired! :(
I've been so excited to start this book:
It made for a nice read on the plane.....that and a couple more glasses of wine. Dinner time!!
That's pasta with a porcini mushroom sauce with sundried tomatoes, a salad and oreo cheesecake. Everything was pretty good, I have to say.
When we arrived in Hawaii, I was exhausted. (Too much wine?) We checked into our beautiful hotel room and went out to grab a bite to eat. Most places were closed but we managed to find something that was open. I couldn't even tell you the name of the place. But I did have a small Greek salad which was pretty good and this:
Little fried shrimp with cocktail sauce and a lemon aoli. It was ok....I ate about half. We came back to the hotel and crashed.
After an amazing sleep, we woke up and went straight to the pool.
Breakfast was this fruit plate and granola bar. I ate my breakfast while looking at this view:
Not too shabby. :) Then this nice lady came around with little muffins. Of course I had to have one.
I have no idea what kind it was but it was a tasty little guy.
We had lunch at one of the hotel's restaurant: Ferraro. I had the seafood Cobb salad.
Alongside the wine, I had these little yummy Maui Onion and Garlic Macadamia nuts. Little garlic goodness.
The hotel invited us to some kind of drinks/appetizers reception.
The drinks were plentiful but the appetizers were not. I saw one tray of salmon tarts go around (they weren't good) and that was that. Oh well, more room for dinner!
We drove about 25 minutes to a restaurant called The Waterfront. We sat outside at a lovely table. I ordered this:
Hubby and I split the Caesar salad. It was prepared table side and was Excellent!!
For my main entree, I ordered the surf and turf. mmmmmmmmm.......
The happy couple:
The people at the table next to us offered to take this. I think they felt bad for us (or thought I was weird) because all I was taking pictures of was the food. :)
So that brings us to the current day. I'm sipping on some coffee and about to head on down to the pool.

After lunch, hubby and I went shopping. They have this nice little shopping center near by that has....Louis Vuitton. Hubby was in a very generous mood and bought me a couple of goodies. :) I plan on wearing one of the things tonight so I'll put up a picture soon!
I bought a couple of bottles of wine for the hotel room and came back and promptly opened one.

Last but not least, we split the brownie sundae. It was ok, not the best...but at least I got my chocolate fix!

The wedding festivities kick off today with a sunset cocktail cruise. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures. Aloha!
