Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is here! I'm so excited....I leave for Palm Springs in the morning!
Last night's dinner was some leftover Chili Mac that I found in the freezer. I reheated some corn on the cob and cut the corn off and put it in the bottom of the bowl. I put Cholula on top and was happy as a clam. Are clams really happy? Anyway, on the side I had one of the Sun Dried Tomato and Spinach appetizers I made for bunco. Props to Hallie....these were hers....you got to try them!
Hubby was away for work for the night and the kids were exhausted so we all went to bed early. But not before I had some dessert: Special K Granola with raspberries and almond milk:
I had such a fabulous sleep! Yes!!! I've been going to bed a little late (for me) this week so it was nice to get some extra sleep.
This morning's breakfast was an egg white sandwich on a bagel thin with low fat swiss cheese, spinach and Dijon mustard and a side of watermelon:
I have a lot of watermelon to use up. :) I took the kids to school and went to Starbucks to wait a bit before I had to pick up my daughter for her end of the year school party. I had a black tea and read for a bit. When it was time to go, I had a Fiber One bar on the way:
At the party I had 3/4 of an onion bagel with egg salad on top and a couple crackers with cheese. I also had a little bit of a piece of cake. Sorry no pics.....the moms at the school don't know I write the blog so I felt a little funny taking pictures of my food. :)
After the party it was time to pick up my son and go to swim lessons. When we got back it was snack time:
This is my favorite snack. It is so filling! I love peanut butter! I just realized that I haven't had a single vegetable today. That is weird for me.
I'm going out to dinner tonight with the hubby and some work buddies. I think we're having sushi? That's about it folks....I'm off to Palm Springs early tomorrow morning so you won't be hearing from me until Sunday night or Monday. Don't miss me too much k?
