138.6 yesterday....141.4 today
Sorry I've been so M.I.A. lately! But I have a good reason....I went to the Laker game last night! Go Lakers!! Guess that explains the crazy weight "gain"? :)
Let's see....where did I leave off? Monday afternoon, hubby and I took the kids to their swim lesson, a doctor's appointment and then to Pei Wei for dinner. I had my standard kid's honey seared shrimp with brown rice and veggies:
I got the kids to bed and then went over to Lisa's house to watch the Bachlorette. Every Monday night she has people over to watch it and haven't been able to come yet. Check out her spread:
I was a good girl and stayed away from the booze and most of the food. I did much on some Chex mix and watermelon. I enjoyed watching the show...it's super cheesy but it was fun. I've never seen an episode of the Bachlorette before!
Yesterday morning's breakfast was an egg white sandwich on a light wheat English muffin with low fat swiss cheese and a slice of turkey bacon. I got the turkey bacon for free so I'm trying to figure out ways to use it. I'm not sure if I'm a fan or not. Anyway, I had some watermelon and cantaloupe on the side:
I was a bad girl and skipped spin class. I just wanted to chill since I still am not feeling the best and I knew I was going to have a late night...I needed to save my energy. I did end up running a few errands and I picked up a chicken burrito from El Pollo Loco for lunch:
I love El Pollo Loco....I wonder why I don't eat it more often. So then it was time to get ready for the Laker game. I was going with the hubby and Lisa's hubby was supposed to go with us but he got stuck on a business trip so Lisa came instead. I was excited! We were being super silly in the car taking pictures of each other:
I wore my purple top just for the occasion. :) The drive went by pretty quick. Game time!
Lisa and I had tickets for Club Hyde in the Staples Center so that's where we watched the game. The view:
Wine time!
We ordered some chips, salsa and guacamole:
I ordered the mozzarella, tomato and basil sandwich:
It was really good! The flatbread was warm and the tomatoes were crisp...yum!!
Lisa and I:
Being silly:
After the game was over, we all danced for about an hour and then made our way home. Hubby and I picked up some Taco Bell on the way. I had a bean burrito and a taco. There is something so delicious about Taco Bell at midnight. :)
So....back to business today! Healthy food only! :) Breakfast was a light wheat English muffin with Barney Butter and a side of watermelon. I'm lovin watermelon right now!
I went to Zumba (yeah calorie burning!) and then to the pharmacy to pick up some more antibiotics. Hopefully in a few days, I'll be 100%!
Lunch was Amy's Chunky Tomato Bisque. I love Amy's soups! On the side, I had a slice of wheat toast with a Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb cheese wedge, basil, tomato slices and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar:
Now the kids and I are chilling....I think I'm going to keep it low key today. There's a chance we may be able to go to the final Laker game tomorrow night so I need to rest up! :)
