139.4 today....139.2 yesterday
I have a few minutes before I run out the door to Sea World (yeah!) so I thought I'd get you all caught up on my recent eats!
Yesterday's breakfast was another slice (there one more!) of Hungry Girl's Ginormous Oven-Baked Omelette with some salsa:
I took the kids to camp and went to Zumba. I quickly showered and hoped in the car to my wax/facial appointment. I packed some lunch for the road since there was no time to sit down and eat. A turkey and low fat swiss sandwich on whole wheat with mustard and a sliced apple:
After my appointment, I was hungry again (shocker!)...thankfully I know myself so well that I pack extra food. A flat out wrap with peanut butter:
Last night was our monthly Ladies Night and it was at Stone Brewery in Escondido this time.
I had been there once before and remember really enjoying the food. This time was no exception. One thing...I forgot my camera. I haven't done that since I've started blogging! Good thing I had the trusty iphone. I had two glasses of Chardonnay over the evening:
We sat outside on their beautiful patio and the weather was so beautiful!! For my appetizer, I had the seared ahi:
It was good but my friend ordered the tilapia ceviche which was much better! So good that Lisa and I ordered another one to split! Sorry no pic. :( But trust me....order that when you go there!
My entree was the Halibut topped with Crab and Bearnaise sauce. It was supposed to come with wild rice but I asked for extra veggies instead. I also asked for the sauce on the side but that didn't happen. Can't have it all right? :)
It was excellent. Everything was so fresh...they use only organic produce. Thumbs up!! I also tried Dina's Wild Mushrooms over Penne Pasta and that was freaking unbelievably good. Must go back and order that!!
Dessert rolled around and my chocolate cravings were in total control. Dina and I split the Chocolate Cake (there was beer in it!). It wasn't the best cake ever but I needed chocolate so it did the trick just fine:
I had such a great time with my friends and the atmosphere was perfect for a warm summer evening!
I was craving cereal when I woke up this morning. Then I saw a commercial for Special K cereal and I knew that's what I wanted. Behold Special K Cinnamon Pecan cereal with Fiber One cereal, strawberries, blackberries and almond milk:
I don't usually eat cereal for breakfast because I find that it doesn't keep me full for very long. I was right....I'm starving now! Oh well.
We are taking the kids to Sea World today so I need to go pick them up from camp now and be on our way!!
What's your favorite amusement park?

I like Disneyland...I'm not a roller coaster person so I'm not a big fan of six flags or anything like that.
ReplyDeleteI love Sea World. I'm such a water/fish type person that it's so much more fun to me than rides, etc.
ReplyDeleteYet another restaurant that I must put on my SD list. :-)
