138.6 yesterday
Sunday night began with a glass of red wine:
Dinner was Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken and some wild rice mixed with peas and green beans:
It was really good!!
Monday morning’s breakfast was a toasted English muffin with Barney Butter and a side of cantaloupe:
I went to Cardio Muscle class and got a fabulous work out in. I came home and got packed and made a turkey and Swiss sandwich to take in the car with me:
Hubby and I drove to Los Angeles and met my brother in law for lunch at Houston’s. We all split some Spinach and Artichoke dip:
I really splurged and went with the California Burger and fries:
The burger had melted jack cheese, avocado, arugula and red onion. :)
After that we walked around for a bit and then checked into our hotel. We stayed at the Andaz hotel on Sunset Blvd. We got it through priceline.com and had never stayed there. We were pleased to find out that they had complimentary wine between 5-8pm. I had several glasses….not gonna lie. :)
We went downtown to LA Live to meet my brother and sister in law at Katsuya for dinner. We ate a ton of sushi.
So amazing. The sushi was outstanding! Then hubby and I went to watch the LA Kings hockey game. Too bad they lost! Oh well! I had another glass of vino while watching the game.
This morning after a fabulous sleep, I went downstairs to grab some water and coffee and had a peanut granola bar for breakfast:
Our hotel had complimentary snacks & drinks in the room as well as complimentary coffee and orange juice in the lobby in the mornings.
They also had a very strange idea of decor. Check out the orange “dog” that was in our room:
Hmmm…..who goes out shopping for their hotel room accessories and sees this and thinks it’s a good idea?
We got packed up and went to Sunnin Lebanese Cafe for lunch. Hubby had never been and since I raved about it last time, he really wanted to go.
We split the falafel and hummus appetizer:
I had the lamb kebob again:
So good! Then we hit the road and drove back to San Diego. As soon as I got home, I started making my daughter’s birthday cake…she’s turning 4 tomorrow. :)
What style furniture do you like? Modern, traditional, etc.
You had me at sushi AND falafel...
ReplyDeleteso. flipping. jealous! Those just may be two of my favorite foods ever =)
For furniture I love MODERN with a twist of vintage.. if that even makes sense. I just saw the new CB2 additions for spring and almost drooled a little.. I want it all!
