It was worth every delicious bite. Thank you Dina for hosting a fabulous Bunco! I ate too many of these delicious pieces of toasted baguette with a bruscetta topping drizzled with balsamic reduction:
A few glasses of this:

Dina, you rock my world! :)
Dina made another delicious appetizer: crusty, warm bread with this olive oil, balsamic vinegar, red pepper flakes, parsley, garlic concoction that rocks my face off. Can you tell that my face has been rocked off?
That is pure happiness my friends.
Thank you Cari for being my hand model.
Dinner was three different types of pasta: lobster ravioli with a citrus sauce, pasta puttanesca (homemade by Dina’s hubby) and lasagna. I loaded my plate with a little of each and a ton of salad so as not to carb overload too badly. :)
But really folks, let’s talk about what’s really important.
Dessert.
Not just any dessert. Warm, fresh doughnuts from a local bakery.
Evil little things.
Worth.every.bite.
Thank you Dina. You really went all out!
Today was all about damage control. :) Breakfast was an egg beater and low fat swiss cheese sammie on a sandwich thin. I added tomato slices and a spinach to it. Gotta squeeze those extra veggies in!
I took the kids to school and went to Zumba class. Then I got a text from the hubby…..he wanted to take me out to lunch. Nice! We choice Delicias, a restaurant near by. I ordered the Grilled Veggie Wrap with fruit:
I had them put the aioli sauce on the side which I didn’t end up eating. Score for me! It was a delicious wrap: roasted red peppers, grilled asparagus, sprouts and quinoa. I would definitely order that again!
Then it was off to the dentist (boo!) and to pick up the kiddos. Snack was veggies and hummus:
It’s time to fix dinner. I’m making a new recipe from the cooking school I attend: Great News in Pacific Beach. Stay tuned tomorrow for the recipe!
What’s your favorite go-to snack right now?
