144.4…Payback
I’m sick. Boo. That’s what happens when you treat your 34 year old body like it’s 24. It’s called payback.
Yesterday we went to Pei Wei for dinner. Good thing….I did not feel like cooking. I didn’t feel like doing anything.
Hubby and split the Pei Wei Spicy Chicken…
…..and the Sesame Chicken. I ate the brown rice, he ate the white rice.
Afterwards it was Nyquil and bedtime. ZZZZzzzzzzzz
I thought some citrus was in order this morning to help my cold. I had some grapefruits that my mother in law brought from her tree (they are always so juicy!). I had one of those and some Trader Joe’s Strawberry O’s & Fiber One cereals with almond milk.
I took the kids to school and came right home. No run. No cardio muscle class. I do not like skipping my workouts but sometimes you just have to let your body rest.
Lunch was the rest of the pasta from our dinner Friday night at Villa Capri 2.
All I had to do was heat and eat. Nice.
Although I felt like crap today, I was pretty productive in front of the computer.
Big News! I now have my own domain: www.melissalikestoeat.com. (Thank you Erica for your help!) So you might want to update however it is you get here with the new address although blogger says it will redirect you here if you type in the old address.
I picked up the kids from school and came home. Hubby won’t be home for dinner so I don’t have to cook. I just plan on heating something up quick for dinner and calling it a night.
When you’re sick, do you still have an appetite? I do. I always have an appetite.
What book are you reading right now?
I hope you feel better really soon.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!:) When I am sick, I always lose my appetite; it's the same when I am stressed too:p
ReplyDeleteCitrus fruits like oranges, lemons and grapefruits are packed with a punch to help to boost your immunity and your appetite too:D
I am reading...hmmmm...Last Night at Chateau Mermont now:D
Congrats on your new domain. Getting all fancy over here :)
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better soon. And yes, I always have an appetite. You'll know I'm pretty much dead if I don't.
I just finished Pictures of You last night. It was.....ok.
Feel better Miss! Something is seriously going around and the crazy pollen sure doesn't help! Congrats on your domain...way to step it up to the big leagues! :)
ReplyDeleteyay for the new domain! i'm starting to come down with something too...no fun.
ReplyDeleteand yes, i always want to eat too :)
I have an appetite but it is for things like macaroni and cheese, rice, bagels, and ice cream. Carbs and sugar only please:)
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon! I still need to eat when I'm sick--I never ever lose my appetite!
ReplyDeleteFabulous about the new domain!
:)
Congrats on having your own domain! Thankfully I'm still getting notified when you post so there were no glitches that I can tell with the switch. One friend switched and I thought she stopped blogging but when I checked months later, I saw that I'd missed 20 zillion posts! When I'm sick, I usually still have an appetite, unless the sickness is in my stomach. I'm reading The Lake of Dreams by Kim Edwards and loving it! I love any book where the characters are digging up the past to solve an old mystery. In this book, it's her family's past she's digging up.
