138.4…More Birthday Celebrations
Yesterday was my husband’s birthday. We met up with some friends and their kids from out of town at their hotel. We enjoyed some wine by the pool and eventually went out to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Tio Leo’s Mexican restaurant. I was in the margarita mood so I ordered a skinny one on the rocks.
Perfect with chips, salsa and guacamole!
For dinner I ordered shrimp fajitas.
Along with all the fixings, they were pretty good!
I was pretty full when I left. I’ve been doing a lot of indulging lately and was feeling pretty gross by the time I got home. Icky.
This morning I got things started on the right foot with breakfast.
Pineapple Chobani yogurt with my homemade granola and berries.
I went to Zumba and then came home and did something I’ve been putting off for ages: clean out my garage.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped for lunch.
Same tuna salad as yesterday but this time I added even more mustard to the tuna. I really like it!!
I finally finished cleaning out the garage and it looks great! I feel such a sense of accomplishment!
Tonight we are meeting the same friends at their hotel for dinner. More dining out….hopefully I can make healthy choices tonight so I don’t come home feeling like crap. Fingers crossed.
When was the last time you felt crappy from overeating? How do you get back on track?
I felt pretty crappy on Monday because I indulged all weekend. To get back on track I hit the gym and eat light. I kinda lose my appetite after over indulging so much and feeling icky that eating light is welcome and not too hard for at least 3-4 days. Good luck with your choices tonight. I'm going to Cheesecake Factory tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

I feel like crap almost every Monday morning after the weekend of overeating and drinking!!!! I think whenever we go out to eat its hard to not overeat. I may make a smart choice but then eat too much of it!!
ReplyDeleteMy worst eating out was about 2 months ago. I have 3 friends who celebrate their birthday on the same day! First party role (in the morning), I had a big bowl of beef stew and basmati rice (no vegetable there). Second party, I had hot fried rice noodle with hot wings (couldn't finish the noodle but I love hot wings so I ended up with 6 wings!). The last (almost no space room left in my abs) I had double cheese pizza and a big bowl of salad. Only got a half slice of pizza but done the salad :)
ReplyDeleteIn the next morning I had the other bad kick to start my day. My friend handed me the leftover pizza the night before. I love frozen pizza, so I took them for breakfast with a huge glass of hot chocolate milk. That was it. The end of the journey! I didn't eat out again for the next month till today. Hope I have paid my bad with cooking my own foods this far :)
