136.6…Meal Planning & Makeup
I went through the freezer yesterday trying to figure out what to defrost for dinner. I decided on some leftover Rigatoni Bolognese from Villa Capri 2.
I made a salad to go with it. Easy dinner.
I’ve had some questions lately about how I plan my meals for the week. On Sunday, I figure out what days of the upcoming week that I will need to prepare dinner. So if it’s 5 days, I need to up come with 5 recipes for those days. Then I write out my grocery list and go to the grocery store on Monday. It makes it very easy during the week!
Breakfast this morning was especially delicious.
Toasted English muffin with egg beaters, cheddar cheese, avocado and my Baja Fresh salsa. Along with some strawberries, it was a very colorful meal!
I took the kids to school and went to spin class. After changing, I went to the mall to run some errands. I stopped at Corner Bakery for lunch.
I ordered their Chopped Salad. It was pretty simple but good and filling.
After finishing errands, I was early to pick up the kids so I stopped at Starbucks for a skinny vanilla latte.
A reader recently asked me a question about what makeup I use and I thought it would be fun to talk makeup for once!
I have two favorite foundations:
Dr. Perricone No Foundation Foundation (my daily foundation)
Prescriptives Virtual Skin Foundation (I use in the evening or during the day sometimes if I want a bit more coverage).
For concealer I’ve been using the new Dr. Perricone No Concealer Concealer. I like it because it has SPF! Sometimes it’s not enough coverage for me though and I use Laura Gellar’s Real Deal Concealer.
For powder I use Makeup Forever’s HD Microfinish Powder.
And there you have it!
Do you plan ahead for meals for the week?
What are you favorite makeup items?
Mac foundation and concealer, a foundation brush makes a huge difference, and rimmel 6 hour lip gloss.
