138.4…Phil, Mike and the OG

I have been out to eat almost every meal in the last 24 hours. It all started yesterday after I got off the train from my trip to Los Angeles. I really wanted a turkey and provolone sandwich from Jersey’s Mike’s. I checked my phone and found a location right near the train station! What luck! I guess it was meant to be!

I picked the kids up from  school and came home. We met some friends at Phil’s BBQ for dinner.

Oh how I love thee Phil’s! Your onion rings are the bomb!

I enjoyed a half rack of ribs with cole slaw and baked beans.

It’s a meal that dreams are made of….well….at least my dreams.

This morning’s breakfast was my only meal at home. Egg beaters on a toasted English muffin with shredded cheddar cheese and strawberries.

I dropped the kids off at school and went to Starbucks for a latte.

I usually only go to Starbucks once a week but I think I’ve been three times this week.

Today was the last day of school for the year. Definitely bitter sweet. I went to a few events at the school. To celebrate their last day as a preschooler and a first grader, I took them to one of their favorite restaurants: The OG…otherwise known as the Olive Garden.

I LOVE their salad so I just had the soup & salad combo.

I ate two bowls of salad. Go big or go home.

I chose the Zuppa Toscana soup.  I had never had it before. It was pretty good but I think I like the minestrone better.

We stopped by my husband’s office to say hi and then came home. Tonight my husband and I are going to Orange County for our friend’s 40th birthday dinner. I need to finish getting dressed so we can hit the road.

Tomorrow we leave for Mexico for 4 days. I’m not sure about the internet situation but hopefully I’ll be able to blog. If not, I’ll see ya in 4 days. Adios!

How often do you treat yourself with coffee from Starbucks/Coffee Bean/etc.?
