138.4…Lack Of Food
Sometimes opening a can of soup for dinner is so comforting. It’s easy, it’s fast and there’s not a ton of dishes to do. It’s also something you do when you don’t have much in your refrigerator. This is what happened Monday night. My husband had to work late and I hadn’t been grocery shopping since I was gone all weekend, so a can of Trader Joe’s pea soup became dinner.
I like this soup but I much prefer Anderson’s pea soup FYI.
Yesterday’s breakfast was pineapple Chobani, Cascadian Farms granola and strawberries.
I have big plans to make a new batch of granola….I just need to find the time to do it.
After taking the kids to school, I ran some errands and stopped at Wahoo’s for lunch.
The standard two fish tacos.
I picked the kids up from school and we ended up at Souplantation for dinner.
I had my standard salad, chili and 800 little cups of ranch dressing.
Then my refrigerator broke. Ugh. I moved what I could to our tiny fridge outside by our barbeque. Then I just prayed for the rest of the stuff in there. By morning, it was working just fine. Huh?? I have a repair person coming today to check it out just in case. Fortunately, I didn’t have a ton of food in there. Another benefit for having a lack of food.
Breakfast this morning was scrambled egg beaters, salsa, shredded cheddar cheese and avocado.
I took the kids to school, got my hair done and then ran some errands. I stopped at California Pizza Kitchen for lunch and had one of my favorite salads ever.
Chopped Italian Salad. There’s nothing I don’t love about this salad. The mustard dressing is out of this world.
Tonight we are going out to dinner with some friends. Thank goodness. I have no food at home.
Is your fridge full or empty like mine?
My fridge is ridiculously full, considering there is only me and my husband! I need to start eating out of my pantry/fridge/freezer before shopping.
ReplyDeleteLove that you get those fish tacos all the time!
