143.8…Mixing It Up
Last night I attended an event in our neighborhood known as the “Couples Mixer”. There are about 25 couples in the group and every quarter a different person hosts the event at their home. Each guest brings a hearty appetizer and a bottle of wine. It’s always a blast!
This time Eilis & Neil hosted. Their home was beautiful!
My husband was out of town so I rolled solo. Somehow with all the delicious food and wine, I was able to enjoy myself. :)
As usual, everyone brought amazing appetizers! I cheated this time and brought a jar of Stonewall Kitchen’s Roasted Garlic Jam and crackers. Turned out to be really good with cheese!
Thank you Eilis and Neil for an amazing evening!
This morning’s breakfast was scrambled egg beaters with chopped turkey, salsa and a half of a grapefruit.
I spent almost the entire day cleaning out the kids’ toys. It’s amazing how much stuff they accumulate.
Lunch was a tuna sandwich and a salad with Creamy Italian Dressing. I’m really enjoying that dressing!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
Are there any regular social events in your neighborhood?
Just the outdoor patio looks amazing! Nope, my husband doesn't even like to look at the neighbors, let alone talk to them - I do though! :D
