142.4…Gangster Style
Last night my husband and I attended an event for the FIDF: Friends of the Israel Defense Forces. The theme was “Puttin’ on the Ritz, a Roaring 20’s Party.” Of course we had to dress the part!
Gangster style!! The event was a lot of fun. I didn’t get to snap too many photos…I found it hard with my gloves on to do much of anything. :) There were live and silent auctions, tapas-style dinner and live entertainment and dancing!
My friend Lolly and I:
I love getting dressed up in costume…so much fun!
This morning’s breakfast was simple yet wonderful. I made two mini breakfast tacos with scrambled egg beaters and shredded cheddar cheese on small flour tortillas. I ended up topping each with taco sauce AND hot sauce. These will be repeated.
Today we had no where to be which is wonderful. I’ve spend the day trying to get the house organized and my email cleaned out. So far, so good.
Lunch was a turkey sandwich, mini peppers and ranch dressing.
Tonight we are going out for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday to a restaurant I’ve never been before: Blue Ribbon Pizza in Encinitas. Excited to try it!
Speaking of dressing up…what are you going to be for Halloween?
Reminds me of an exchange. But far classier.

ReplyDeleteExactly. :)
So fun! We actually dress up for Halloween at work, but I have no idea yet what I am going to be!
