142.6…Good Meal, Bad Meal
Thursday night’s dinner rocked. I re-created Taco Bell’s Taco Supremes for dinner.
I actually used turkey with Lawry’s taco seasoning and you would never know that it was turkey. Topped them with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, sour cream and tomatoes. On the side, I served refried beans and topped them with cheddar cheese and onions. I think “taco night” needs to happen in our house more often!
Breakfast Friday morning was pineapple Chobani yogurt, Special K granola, strawberries and raspberries.
After I took the kids to school, I went to a meeting then it was off to Lisa’s house for a pool party to celebrate Annette’s birthday!
It was a zebra print theme so there was zebra all around!
Dina made her famous turkey, goat cheese and pesto paninis for lunch!
These sandwiches are amazing!
I had another half of a panini and had to stop myself from a third. They are that good.
I picked the kids up from school, then took my son to cotillion. Don’t laugh. I had to go as a child and while I hated it then, it taught me so much that I was able to use as I got older. Just as I predicted, my son hated it too. ;)
Dinner was a flop. You should have seen my husband’s face when he took the first bite. You would have thought I fed him gasoline. Based on the great reviews on Food Network’s website, I made Paula Deen’s recipe for Chicken Divan. I didn’t think it tasted like gasoline but it wasn’t that great.
I ate my serving along with a salad. The rest went into the trash. :(
Breakfast this morning was scrambled egg beaters with red & yellow bell peppers, salsa and cilantro.
We went to my daughter’s soccer game then to McDonald’s for lunch. I had my usual: grilled chicken McWrap and side salad with ranch dressing.
Tonight my husband and I are going to a function with a Roaring 20’s theme! I’m excited to pull out the flapper costume!
What was the last recipe you made that bombed?
I love your sexy rock/tree picture. You go.
