139.8…Wild Blingdom
Somehow I forgot to take a picture of my dinner last night. Oh well…it wasn't anything you haven't seen before. I had a bowl of Cream of Fresh Tomato Soup, veggies and ranch dressing. My husband wasn't home for dinner and I wasn't feeling inspired.
Breakfast this morning was scrambled egg beaters with asparagus, salsa and pepper jack cheese.
After I took the kids to school, I got ready for our annual community center luncheon. Each year, you table needs to come up with a theme and you decorate your table (and yourselves!) according to that theme. Our theme this year was "Wild Blingdom." Basically wear as much animal print and "bling" as possible.
Lisa gets credit for decorating the table. She did an amazing job!
Lisa has most of the photos on her camera but here are just a few of the other tables at the event:
Over the top, right? One of the tables did a "Duck Dynasty" theme. Absolutely hilarious. Eventually I will get the rest of the photos to share.
It was really fun seeing how everyone got into their theme! I know what I got into. Lunch!
Grilled chicken salad:
Pretty tasty, if I do say so myself. But what was even better was the dessert. Isn't this usually the case?
I have to say that this was one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. I ate about four bites. I was trying to behave myself. For once.
Chocolate or vanilla cake?
