141.4…Stitchfix Shipment #2
We all went over to a friend's house for dinner last night. After all the craziness with the fires, it was nice to get away from it all for a bit and enjoy delicious food and good company. The husbands picked up dinner from Marketplace Grill. We had chicken & beef kabobs, rice, hummus, pita, falafel and shirazi salad.
I'm excited to announce that my second Stitchfix shipment arrived! You sign up and tell them your style, size, and budget preferences and they send you a box of clothing/accessories just for you. If you keep everything, you get 25% off it all or send back what you don't like. It's quite addictive. Last shipment, I only kept one thing. You are able to give them notes on why or why not you don't like the things you send back, that way they get to know your style and preferences better. This shipment I had much more luck. I kept three out of the five things that were sent to me.
I was sent this Sanctuary Demmi Snap-Front Twin Print Tank Top and these Level 99 Tony Straight Leg Jeans:
These are the two items I sent back. The jeans were a bit too long for me, although I liked the fit and wash. I didn't really care for the print on the tank top. I wasn't excited about it.
I ended up keeping this 41Hawthorn Ivy Abstract Triangle Print Tab-Sleeve Blouse:
I like blouses like this one so it was a keeper. The print is fun too!
The other two items I kept were a Laila Jayde Jaspers Split Neck Knit Shirt and 41Hawthorn Alina Leopard Print Infinity Scarf.
The top was a bit sheer but didn't need a camisole underneath. The sleeves were cool on it. The scarf was a no-brainer. I love scarves.
There you have it! Shipment #2 basically a success! Try out Stitchfix and let me know what you think.
School was cancelled again today because of the fire situation. It's much better in my area but it's still bad in San Marcos. I can still see the smoke.
I slept in a bit which was nice. Breakfast was scrambled egg beaters with salsa and cheddar cheese.
I'm going to get some things done around the house today and run a few errands. Here's hoping for a quiet weekend!
Do you like shopping online for clothes or do you need to go to the actual stores?

So sorry to hear about the fires...I live in Florida and the news is showing the fires and giving updates. Also, I have family that lives in La Jolla so she has been posting pictures on Facebook. Oh, and to answer your question, I mostly like to shop in stores...by myself, so that I can focus on trying on the picking out what I think looks best on me. I like the clothes you kept! Terry
