143.8…Memorial Day Weekend Eats
My weekend of great eats continued Saturday night at my nephew's Bar Mitzvah dinner. There was a buffet of Mediterranean food.
I snuck some of the mac and cheese that was meant for the kids on my plate. :)
Sunday morning we all headed off to the Magic Castle for the last of the bar mitzvah celebrations. I enjoyed some food from the buffet before heading off to the magic shows.
Next stop was my brother's Memorial Day Pool Party. He had a person there making amazing tacos. I had one chicken, one steak and one pork.
I could live off tacos forever.
After the party, we drove back to San Diego.
Memorial Day yesterday started out with a Special K Flatbread Breakfast Sandwich.
I went to the grocery store and came home to get ready for Wing Night at our house! First up was lunch though. Tuna salad, veggies and ranch dressing.
My husband requested an apple pie for dessert so I made my favorite one: Grandma Ople's Apple Pie. Before going in the oven:

Alicia, Joe and their kids came over to swim and enjoy some good eats. I put out chips and dips, including My Favorite Guacamole.
This is what I call a hot mess:
Alicia brought the salad:
I love three day weekends. What a fabulous day!
Breakfast this morning was scrambled egg beaters with salsa, green onions, chicken sausage and cheddar cheese.
After taking the kids to school, I volunteered for a bit, went to an appointment, then to the gym. Lunch was the same as yesterday:
After all that fabulous food, I need to get back on track!
What was the best thing you ate all weekend?
