143.6…Saying Goodbye
It was all about the leftovers last night: chicken tacos, Creamy Cole Slaw and Mexican Bean Salad.
These are leftovers I never get sick of.
I was up super early this morning to take my son to the bus for sleep away camp. I quickly ate a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios with almond milk and then we were on our way.
My son is going to sleep away camp for two weeks. As soon as the bus drove away, I cried. I'm not really a crier but that will get you every time.
I took my sad self to the gym for spin class. Felt better after that. Went to some appointments and ran some errands including stopping for lunch at Corner Bakery.
I decided to try the chicken tortilla soup this time instead of the chili. It was good but I prefer the chili, even if I never get my onions.
Did you ever go to sleep away camp?

Two weeks? EEEK! How old is your son? My son is going to a hockey camp this summer, he will be overnight for 5 nights and I'm already thinking I am going to cry. He's 13! He's probably excited but he's never been gone away from me for that long unless he s been with family.

ReplyDeleteI know, right!?! You'll be home alone and sad and he'll be having the time of his life! :)
