142.8…Stitchfix Shipment #4
My latest Stitchfix shipment arrived. I tore it open and tried everything on. First up was the Esten Button-Up Sleeveless Blouse and Ermer High Waisted Cropped Trouser.
I loved the blouse. I'm trying to add more color in my wardrobe so this was perfect. The pants…not so much. I can't get on bored with the high waisted pants. The trend was to wear them so low for so long that I'm not used to anything else. Pants are going back.
Here's the Minal V-Neck 3/4 Sleeve Solid Blouse:
Eh. Boring. Going back.
Next was the Jakobe Chevron Print Maxi Dress:
Blah. Looked like a Chevron moo moo to me. Also going back.
They also sent me a Pixley Tammy Metal Lace Bib Necklace:
I think the necklace would have been great if it would bigger/chunkier. It was too delicate and small for me. It went back to. So this shipment wasn't as successful as others but you can't win them all, right?
Friday night my husband was out of town and being that he doesn't like fish, I knew that's exactly what I wanted for dinner. I made my favorite Amazing Salmon and paired it with the leftovers of the Roasted Red Potatoes and Roasted Asparagus.
Saturday morning's breakfast was toast with peanut butter and half a grapefruit.
I did some stuff around the house, a PTO project (yep…never ends) and some laundry. Lunch was tuna salad, veggies and ranch.
I went with the kid and my sister and law and her family to meet the rest of the family at the beach in Orange County to celebrate my two nephew's birthdays. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and some delicious El Pollo Loco for dinner.
After dinner, we made our way back to San Diego.
Breakfast this morning was the same as yesterday. When you like something, you just like it.
Profound huh?
So…I"m hosting Bunco on Tuesday. I have a fabulous summer menu planned and got started on some of the prep today. Lunch was a turkey sandwich, veggies and ranch.
We went to our friends' daughter's 1st birthday party. They had Phil's BBQ. It was epic.
What was the best thing you ate all weekend?

I always eat "Biz" food if my husband isn't home - still don't like salmon though - I've tried but its just too fishy for me.
ReplyDeleteI made some really good blueberry muffins - loving that I can buy blueberries for $1 a pint!
