142.8…Stitch Fix Shipment #5
I am always excited when my Stitch Fix box arrives every month. I tear into it with gusto and immediately try everything on.
First up was Sandro Graphic Print Racerback Tank and Logan Skinny Jean:
I love racerback tops but this one was just ok. I didn't think the print was anything special. The jeans fit great but were almost an exact match to jeans I already own. Both items went back.
I added the Lillah Quilted Ponte Jacket to the mix:
I was on the fence about this one. I went back and forth on it so much that I decided to send it back. If I'm not certain, best it goes back.
Here is the Divinity Eyelet Detail Pleat Front Blouse:
I loved this top. Color, fit, style…everything. It was a keeper! And I've already worn it!
I was also sent a Brady Rhinestone Spike Necklace:
This didn't lay right on. The rhinestones on the chain kept twisting. Also, I felt like the spikes needed to be bigger or the chain needed to be longer. Went back.
So I only kept one item but I really love that item. I have a friend who uses Stitch Fix and she ended up with a great shipment and requested that particular stylist for the future. Great idea…I'm going to do that when I get a shipment that's more me.
Last night we had a friend over from out of town. We decided to take him to our club for dinner. Wednesday nights are what they call "Supper Night" and there's a fixed menu. The table gets a Caesar Salad:
As well as Warm Drop Buttermilk Biscuits and Deviled Eggs:
Everything rocked. You know what was amazing!?! Eating the deviled eggs WITH the caesar salad. Never would have thought to put the two together but it was out of this world.
You have a choice of 5 entrees. I ordered the Cedar River Farms Prime Rib with Au Jus and Horseradish Cream:
Perfect. You choose three sides for the table. We ordered Grilled Asparagus with Truffle Oil and Parmesan Cheese:
Along with Sautéed Garden Vegetables and Mac & Cheese:
If that wasn't enough, you get your own Vanilla Pound Cake with Mascarpone Cream Sauce for dessert.
Epic meal.
Breakfast this morning was pineapple Chobani yogurt, Almond Coconut Granola and mixed berries:
After taking the kids to school, I went to spin class, then an appointment. I had a massive craving for sushi so I decided to treat myself for lunch at Gami Sushi.
The sushi fix has been satisfied. For now.
What are you currently craving?

So you just end up paying for stuff you decide to keep? Or is each box a certain price? Just wondering. I have no fashion sense so it is wasted on me. You'll laugh - the shirt I bought to wear on camera next week in New York? Bought it at Goodwill for $3.99 :D
ReplyDeleteHey there! You look so much better and younger without makeup. :-)

ReplyDeleteYes, you only pay for the stuff you keep. If you keep it all (hasn't happened yet), you receive 25% off everything.
Loving your Goodwill purchase!!!!!!
@Terry
ReplyDeleteI was hoping no one would notice I didn't have any on. LOL.
