144.8…The Weekend Eats
And just like that…another weekend is over. Boo. I did have a great weekend though, filled with lots of delicious food, of course!
After my poor son was tortured in cotillion Friday night, we went over to Alicia's for dinner. We picked up Pei Wei for the kids and Brett's BBQ for the adults. Bring on the baby back ribs, sweet potato fries and cole slaw!
That's my kind of Friday night!
Saturday morning's breakfast was an English muffin with a fried egg and cheddar cheese.
I took my son to his basketball game where they came out victorious. We celebrated at McDonald's for lunch.
Grilled Chicken McWrap (with lots of spicy buffalo sauce) and a side salad with balsamic dressing.
Saturday night, I attended our school's fundraiser of which I was part of the planning committee. We've been working on it since the last school year and I've had so much fun helping to plan it. I took a few pictures before the guests arrived and then put my phone down so I could dance the night away with everyone else. We had several different active food stations for dinner.
Sushi:
Israel salad and falafel:
Asian style noodles with beef:
There was also a fish taco station with salsa and guacamole. There were plenty of passed appetizers and drinks.
I should have taken a photo of the beautiful dessert table. It was exquisite. The party was complete with a DJ and electric violinist. So much fun!!
Breakfast yesterday morning definitely called for spicy eggs.
Scrambled egg beaters, salsa and cheddar cheese.
We went over to my brother in law's house for my nephew's birthday party. During the day, I snacked on chips and hummus:
As well as this delicious smoked salmon that my brother in law made complete with homemade aioli.
They picked up chicken & beef kabobs for dinner along with rice and salad. I had two plates that looked like this:
Breakfast this morning was an English muffin with peanut butte and half a grapefruit.
After I took the kids to school, I dragged myself to Cardio Muscle class. Mondays are always tough but I feel so much better after!
I ran some errands and came home for lunch. Tuna salad, veggies and ranch:
I'm off to a school meeting and then home with the kiddos for homework time. Fun! :)
What was the best thing you ate all weekend?

Wow, that's some school fundraiser! When Hannah was little it was was gold fish tosses, and homemade cake walks!
ReplyDeleteBut now I really want some ribs. My Italian beef pizza turned out amazing, I love the new dough - and made a second pizza with the dough three days later and loved it even more. :D
