147.0…Costumes and Cake
We went to Eddie V's Thursday night for dinner. My meal started with the Iceberg BLT (crisp bacon, Maytag blue cheese, buttermilk-chive dressing):
For my entree, I ordered the Pacific Ahi Tuna (seared with Asian pear, mango, avocado, and roasted cashews):
I did not eat any of the fruit. The ahi was SO delicious!! It was such a nice big piece of tuna that was served to look like a steak. The table shared the Sautéed Monterrey Sweet Corn:
As well as Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Shallots:
I also tried some of their Truffled Macaroni and Cheese, which might possibly be the best mac and cheese ever.
My husband and I shared the S'mores dessert which was INSANE:
Breakfast Friday morning was an English muffin with peanut butter and half a grapefruit:
After I took the kids to school, I went to Cardio Muscle class followed by an appointment. Lunch was a turkey sandwich with veggies and ranch dressing:
When I brought the kids home from school, it was just about time to get ready for Halloween Trick or Treating! Alicia, Joe and their kids came over for pizza and Trick or Treating. I ordered pizza from Flippin Pizza and Alicia brought a Caesar salad.
My son was a Boston Red Sox player and my daughter was Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. I didn't dress up but Arnold did!
She was "Candy Security." I think she had the most fun Trick or Treating! :)
Saturday morning we slept in, then left for my son's basketball game. I picked up a Starbucks latte for breakfast. After the game, we went to Souplantation for lunch.
My usual salad with chili. There was some pizza bread eaten after this picture. I also had to try their pumpkin soft serve which was pretty good.
Later on, we got ready to head to Kettner Exchange downtown for Alicia's birthday party!
There was so much delicious food! My favorites were the tuna tacos:
And the beef & pulled pork sliders and fries:
Let's not forget dessert! Amazing birthday cake:
Happy Birthday Alicia!!! Thank you for a fabulous evening!
Breakfast this morning was scrambled egg beaters, salsa, pepperoni, and cheddar cheese:
Not much has been going on here all day. Watched the Chargers get demolished and made spaghetti for lunch.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I love that take on a wedge with the strips of bacon - yum! Sounds like a good weekend! Yep, I dressed up, but sadly the rest of my office was lame and I only got 3 trick or treaters. :(
