144.6....Snacking
Monday afternoon, I needed a snack. I usually don’t snack because once I start snacking, I feel like I can’t stop. I don’t like small portions of food…they make me feel deprived. But….I knew I wasn’t going to make it to dinner so I opted for one of the kids’ Quaker Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip granola bars.
I ate it slow and tried to make it last but it was gone in 3 seconds. I have to admit, it did take the edge off and I was able to survive until dinner.
When my son was at basketball practice, we grabbed a quick dinner at Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza. My husband and I split the Chopped Chicken Salad:
I also had the Roasted Tomato Soup:
Breakfast yesterday morning was scrambled egg beaters with salsa, green onions and cheddar cheese.
I spent the entire day at the school working on a project for an upcoming event. I grabbed a Grilled Chicken Greek Salad at Marketplace Grill for lunch.
Last night was Taco Tuesday. I made some turkey tacos using my Homemade Taco Seasoning.
Breakfast this morning was pineapple Chobani yogurt, granola and strawberries:
After I took the kids to school, I went to spin class. It was a different instructor than last week but I still burned 530 calories!
Lunch was tuna salad and celery sticks.
Are you a snacker?
