Check out this amazing cheese display at the event we went to Saturday night!
It was an event for a group that my husband belongs to. It was held at the Santaluz Club and it was a beautiful night!
After the cocktail hour, we sat down for dinner. Our first course was a delicious mixed green salad.
That was followed by an entree of steak, chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables.
Dessert was yummy mini cheesecakes!
The entertainment of the night was a comedian. It was a fun night out with my husband!
Sunday morning I had my usual for breakfast.
Then we headed off to Disneyland. We checked into our hotel then hit the park. We stopped for lunch at ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney. I had the Chicken Avocado Wrap with a side salad.
Eh. It was ok. It helped that I poured buffalo hot sauce on each bite.
Dinner was much better. We went to Tortilla Jo’s. We shared the table-side guacamole.
It rocked.
My husband and I split shredded beef tacos and a grilled chicken burrito.
Stuffed.
It was a good thing we walked a lot that day. And I mean, A LOT. I beat my personal record of steps for a day (since I’ve had my Fitbit for the last several years).
25,000 Steps!!!!! It will be hard to beat that!
Before we left for the park yesterday morning, I had a Cascadian Farm Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Chewy Bar.
I enjoyed the guacamole at Tortilla Jo’s so much, I insisted we go for lunch.
This time I went a bit lighter with some Ceviche.
After lunch, we headed home. I wasn’t really hungry for dinner. I ended up having a glass of wine and some peanut butter pretzels. Dinner of champions.
Breakfast today was the usual:
I took the kids to school, then went to Cardio Sculpt class. That was followed by a trip to the grocery store and an appointment. Lunch was a Shrimp Vermicelli salad.
Pretty darn tasty!
Do you wear a Fitbit or other pedometer? What’s your stepping record?
