145.2...Petco Park Perfection
My husband and I had a great time at the San Diego Padres baseball game last night at Petco Park. We were lucky to go with a group that had great seats and access to dinner at the Lexus Home Plate Club. I had some sushi and prime rib from the buffet.
After round number one of food, we went to our seats.
Besides the buffet, the Lexus Home Plate Club has what I call “The Junk Food Room” where you can get your standard baseball fair (just a bit more upscale) as well as a dessert bar and ice cream sundae station. You can also order food to your seats. I brought some guacamole and chips to my seat. The guacamole was definitely made fresh and was pretty delicious!
Later, my husband and I ordered the Carne Asada Fries.
Epic. Simply epic.
We were sitting near one of the ball boys so I was able to snag a couple of these for my kids!
You know what else I snagged? A couple of these crazy sweet and fabulous cake pops:
Once again I ate my way through Petco Park…..
…and loved every minute of it! Oh and the Padres beat the Cardinals!!!
Breakfast this morning:
So far I went grocery shopping, did the laundry and did some clean up around the house. Lunch was a turkey sandwich and salad.
Tonight we are staying in and barbecuing. Trying a couple new recipes too!
Making any new recipes this weekend?
