144.2...A Green Lunch
On Sunday night we went over to Joe & Alicia’s for dinner. Alicia taught me how to make her Italian mother in law’s famous pasta sauce. I can’t wait and try and make it at home. It really is easy.
I brought over an Italian Chopped Salad to go with it. Fabulous meal!
Ah Monday. You always like to sneak up on me.
Breakfast:
After I took the kids to school, I went to Hardline class at the gym.
Lunch was at Green Spot again. I just love the Seared Ahi Sesame Ginger Bowl!
I joined my husband for dinner with some friends at Jake’s last night. Our table split a few appetizers.
Surf & Turf Tartare (bulgogi marinated prime all natural steak, lobster, kimchee cucumber, cilantro):
Ahi Tartare Tacos (wasabi cream cheese, chili vinaigrette, sea beans, micro greens):
Brussels Sprouts (bacon, warm honey vinaigrette, toasted walnuts, fried capers):
Crab and Shrimp Potstickers (snow peas, balsamic soy vinaigrette, roasted Asian pear):
The tacos and Brussels were my favorites!
For my entree, I ordered the Cod that was on special. I ordered the red curry sauce on the side and veggies instead of rice.
Healthy & delicious.
The healthy part ended at dessert.
You can’t say no to Jake’s Hula Pie!
Breakfast this morning:
After I took the kiddos to school, I went to Cardio Strength class at the gym. I stopped by Trader Joe’s on the way home for some groceries. I picked up a container of pea soup and had that for lunch as well as leftover chopped Italian salad from Sunday night.
Quite a green meal! I think I needed a bigger soup bowl…..
What’s your favorite kind of soup?
