Nantucket!
Hello from Nantucket!! Our cruise to Bermuda was really fun and now were are on our final part of our trip in Nantucket!
The night before we left for our cruise, we went to Antico Forno in the North End of Boston for dinner. We all shared a Margherita Pizza:
Delicious!
I ordered the Fettuccine alla Bolognese (Chef Bolognese ragu recipe with egg fettuccine pasta):
So fabulous! Ate every bite! Would definitely return to Antico Forno again!
Friday morning I grabbed a Quaker Breakfast Flat for breakfast and we headed to board our ship for a week long cruise to Bermuda.
We had a great time!
I got to check something off my bucket list.
Swimming with dolphins!
Amazing experience!!
We did manage to have one dinner out in Bermuda at The Pickled Onion. I ordered the Grilled Tuna (char grilled yellowfin tuna, green pea and lemon risotto, sautéed fresh arugula, bell pepper chutney):
Winner, winner, tuna dinner. It was excellent!
Yesterday we docked back in Boston, dropped our bags off at the hotel, then headed straight to the North End to enjoy one final delicious Italian meal in Boston. We ended up at Panza. We shared a couple of appetizers.
Caprese Salad (fried tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil oil):
I wasn’t a fan of the fried tomatoes in this.
Bruschetta (grilled garlic toast topped with marinated tomatoes, red onion, crumbled goat cheese, balsamic reduction):
This was excellent!
I ordered the Chicken Piccata which came with a side of linguine:
Loved it! Another great restaurant!!!
That night we went to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox play the Diamondbacks. I had some sushi, which wasn’t very good, while I was there.
We got to see David Ortiz hit a home run. It was a pretty spectacular game.
Yesterday we got up and packed. Breakfast was room service. Eggs over easy, hash browns and toast.
We made the two hour drive to Hyannis to take the hour long ferry to Nantucket. Before we boarded, we had lunch at the little cafe at the dock. I had a sandwich with avocado, lettuce, bacon, tomato and red onion with a side of macaroni salad:
We arrived in Nantucket and went to the house that we are renting. My mom and I went to the grocery store to get some stuff for the week. For dinner, we headed over to my aunt and uncle’s house. We picked up Steamboat Wharf Pizza.
Seriously the most amazing pizza ever.
I loved it!!!
For breakfast I made scrambled eggs and toast. Yum!
Pretty chill day so far. Just doing laundry and hanging out in beautiful Nantucket!
