136.4...An Empty Plate
We met some friends for dinner Wednesday night at Beaumont’s. My meal started with the Ahi Poke (avocado puree, pickled cucumber, sesame seeds, lavash crisp):
Excellent. Ahi Poke is one of my favorite things ever!
For my entree I chose the Local White Sea Bass (spring peas, cauliflower, purple carrots, ramps, cilantro root puree):
I giggled a bit when it was brought to me. I thought the presentation of the food all on one side was funny. It almost looked like an empty plate! Funny aside, it was really good. A tad salty but still great!
Breakfast Thursday:
I took the kids to school, then went to the gym. I went to a meeting then grabbed lunch at Urban Plates.
Ahi, Brussels sprouts and harissa cauliflower and zucchini.
After lunch I went to my tennis lesson, then picked up the kids from school. That night was Christmas Bunco at the club in my neighborhood. It was Burger Night there and I opted for the seared ahi burger. Well, just the seared ahi.
Not much of a burger but it was good! Lol.
Great time with all the girls!
Friday’s breakfast:
I went to the gym, then got stuff done around the house. Lunch was tuna salad, crackers and pickles:
I picked up the kids from school and came home. For dinner I made pasta with marinara and sautéed zucchini and onions.
I also made a Caesar salad to go with it.
I was asleep by 9PM last night. Felt like an old lady for sure but I was not ashamed. It felt great!
Breakfast this morning was an omelet made with the rest of the zucchini and onions.
I went to the gym then came home. Tonight is my husband’s company’s holiday party and it should be a good one!
Any holiday parties this weekend?
