145.0...The Big Fight

Now that the kids are back in school and life is becoming a bit more normal (sort of), I feel like it’s time to return to something I’ve really missed: my blog. I appreciate all of you who have reached out to me wanting it back…I love knowing you are all out there!

It’s been weird not to take pictures of everything I eat and everything I do. I’ve had some great meals, made some new recipes and gone on some amazing trips. I actually just got back from Las Vegas on Sunday. We went to see the Canelo vs. GGG fight with some friends and had a blast.

We left on Thursday night with our friends Jim and Debra courtesy Jet Suite.

We arrived, checked into the Aria Hotel, then met some more friends at Javier’s for dinner.

Friday morning we slept in and ordered breakfast. Room service breakfast is one of my favorite things in life. We met up with Debra at MGM and scored some great seats for the weigh-in.

After the fight we had a quick lunch at our hotel and relaxed until it was time to get ready for dinner.

We met up with Jim and Debra and a few of their friends for dinner at Wolfgang Puck at the MGM. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that my husband and I are big boxing fans. So when one of the friends at the dinner was Roy Jones, Jr., you know we were excited.

Roy’s wife Natlyn was super sweet. It was a memorable dinner for sure!

Saturday we had breakfast and went to the pool to spend the day with friends. Saturday night was the big fight and there were celebrities everywhere. Again, if you’ve been reading for awhile, you know I have very little shame when it comes to asking celebrities for photos, shown here and here for example.

So…when I see Michael J. Fox, it’s hard not to take a picture with him.
