145.2...A Dangerous Store
Tuesday’s lunch was tuna salad, crackers and pickles at home:
That evening Alicia, Dina and I went to Red O for dinner. We shared some chips, salsa and guacamole to start.
Alicia and I both ordered the Mariscos Chile Relleno (Maine lobster, prawns, house cheese blend, white rice, black beans, ancho-citrus sauce):
It was really good. The sauce was just spicy enough that I didn’t need to drown my food in hot sauce like I normally do.
After dinner, we headed over to the Opening Gala for the new Nordstrom UTC mall. We were overwhelmed with how beautiful the store was. The store was packed and it made it hard to shop (we managed a bit!) but it was so much fun!
I can’t wait until the craziness dies down there and I can really check it out. It’s going to be a dangerous store to go to for sure! ;)
Yesterday’s breakfast:
I took the kids to school, then went to Orange Theory. I was dreading the workout but somehow I survived.
I ran some errands and stopped for lunch at Na Pizza. I had my beloved Greek Quinoa Salad:
I picked up the kids, took my son to his orthodontist appointment, then my daughter to her tennis lesson. Later we went to my son’s basketball game followed by dinner at Tio Leo’s.
We shared chili cheese fries to start.
Weird thing to order at a Mexican restaurant but my husband and son had had them before and insisted. They were good.
I ordered the grilled fish tostada.
I swear there’s fish under there.
Today’s breakfast:
I went to spin class, then the dentist, then Urban Plates for lunch.
Albacore, Brussels sprouts and miso mushrooms and sweet potatoes.
The rest of the afternoon has been spent doing laundry and putting up Halloween decorations. I hate the Halloween decorations but my kids love them so they win. :)
