149.0...Spring Breaking
Last Wednesday I took the kids and my daughter’s friend to Westroot Tavern for lunch. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad (furikake, togarashi, mixed greens, romaine, red onion, carrots, radish, citrus vinaigrette dressing):
I didn’t like the citrus dressing so I opted for balsamic vinaigrette. I can’t say the salad was very filing but it was healthy!
My son had a friend over that evening as well so I took them all to Bucca di Beppo for dinner. We all shared the Fried Mozzarella, Spicy Chicken Rigatoni (my favorite) and cheese pizza:
Afterwards I took them go carting.
Breakfast last Thursday:
I met my trainer at the gym then came home to get dressed. I had lunch at Sweet Fin with a couple of friends.
That place is seriously good.
For dinner we went to Burger Night with Alicia and her family at their club.
Lettuce wrapped burger with onion rings. Delicious!
Friday’s breakfast:
I went to Orange Theory (twice that week!). Afterwards, I went to a Bar Mitzvah meeting which ran super long. By the time I picked up El Pollo Loco for lunch it was almost 3:00.
BRC Burrito.
My husband was out of town and my son went with Joe and their kids to a hockey game. Alicia came over to have dinner with my daughter and I. We ordered Tabu Sushi in.
It was an excellent Friday night.
Saturday’s breakfast:
I ran some errands and picked up El Pollo Loco again for lunch. I love that place.
By Saturday evening I was feeling kind of crappy so we stayed in for dinner. I reheated some leftover rigatoni from Bucca di Beppo.
Doesn’t reheat the best. Oh well.
Sunday morning I was full on sick with an awful sore throat. My sweet daughter made me pancakes.
Lunch was a turkey sandwich, chips and pickles.
For dinner, I felt like I had to get my imprisoned kids out of the house, so I took them to Round Table Pizza. I felt like it was acceptable for me to go there with no makeup and in my sweats that I had been sleeping in all day.
I really love their pizza.
Breakfast Monday:
Still feeling like crap, we stayed home all day. Another turkey sandwich for lunch.
I took my son to basketball practice then we went to Tio Leo’s for dinner. Grilled Fish Tostada:
Yesterday’s breakfast:
Still sick so I didn’t do much. More turkey sandwiches:
My son had Bar Mitzvah tutoring. Afterwards we went to Oggi’s Pizza for dinner. We love pizza.
I dropped my son off at a friend’s house for a sleepover and came home and went to bed.
Today’s breakfast:
I started feeling a bit better today. At least my throat doesn’t completely feel like sandpaper when I wake up. Still no gym today. I’m out of breath just walking up the stairs.
I met some friends at Sweet Fin again for lunch. I tried the Miso Kanpachi (instead of the Sriracha Tuna):
It was good but the onions were extra strong and kind of took over. I’d try it again but I prefer the Sriracha Tuna.
Today is my husband’s birthday and he’s finally coming home from his trip tonight. We are going to my son’s basketball game then out to dinner. Happy birthday to him!
